A Higher Level of Investment in ECC

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Matthew 20: 28

The New Testament presents a picture of definable groups of people who, once committed to the Lord Jesus Christ, identified themselves and committed themselves to a particular local body (Acts 2:42-46; Romans 16:1; I Corinthians 1:2; II Corinthians 8:1; Philippians 1:1; Acts 11:26)

joining Volunteer staff

This process is for any individual who wants to make a greater commitment to serve. Being on Volunteer Staff is not a prerequisite for serving in a ministry, but is required for:

In order to join volunteer staff, you must:

  • Be connected to a Life Group or Ministry Team.
  • Have completed a Volunteer Staff Orientation
  • Commit to abide by the Staff Covenant, indicated with signing of the Staff Covenant (see below)

  • Invest Your Passions

Honor God by following Christ personally and passionately.

Your reputation is Christ’s reputation and the Church’s reputation.

  • Invest Your Resources

Support the Gospel here and worldwide by tithing (10% of your income) and then by giving more as God leads. Invest your time, skills, talents, and gifts in and through the church.

  • Invest Your Relationships

Develop authentic loving relationships with others in the Church, establish significant relationships with those who do not know Jesus, and commit to following the leadership of the Church. Make a conscious effort to promote a healthy community by refusing to gossip or speak in a derogatory manner about others.
